RIT hosts an annual Creative Industry Day, giving students the opportunity to connect with companies for future jobs and internships. This year, I had the opportunity to work on designing a new set of collateral for Paychex for this event.

I collaborated with another UX designer and a UX content writer on this project. My responsibilities included designing posters, stickers, and postcards that would be displayed across the RIT campus and distributed during the event. Our goal was to attract like-minded UX designers to explore opportunities at Paychex and apply for the roles we offer.

The Future Is Flex-ible

I played on the word “Flex,” which we use in our UX/UI design team for components, to convey the concept of flexibility within a system. The idea was to show that with the right system in place, designs can remain flexible and scalable for the future. While the poster itself is static, I also created a short GIF to showcase subtle motion, giving the elements a floating effect.

Postcard

In addition to the posters, I designed postcards that provided more information about the position and included an opportunity for students to apply for a contest. Winners could receive a swag bag and the chance to have lunch with the head of the Paychex UX Design team.
